Atlanta Police Seek Person Of Interest In February Fatal Shooting Of 21-Year-Old

ATLANTA, Georgia – Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a person of interest in a February homicide that left a 21-year-old man dead.

Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit are working to gather information in the killing of Trevales Tolbert, which occurred on February 15, 2026.

According to preliminary information, officers with Atlanta Police Zone 3 responded around 2:59 p.m. to a report of a person shot at 905 Coleman Street Southwest. When officers arrived, they found Tolbert suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Tolbert was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators have identified Marquavius Henry as a person of interest and are seeking to question him in connection with the case.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting or Henry’s whereabouts to contact the Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 404-546-4235.
