Rabun County Fugitive Facing Stalking and Terroristic Threat Charges After Capture in East Texas

RABUN COUNTY, Georgia – A 29-year-old man has been extradited from Texas to Georgia to face multiple felony charges stemming from an investigation by the Sky Valley Police Department.

On March 9, 2026, deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office traveled to Texas to take custody of Brennan Luke Fogarty on a Governor’s Warrant related to the case. Fogarty was arrested in Longview, TX.

Following extradition procedures, Fogarty was released to Rabun County deputies and transported back to Rabun County, Georgia. He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the evening of March 10.

Fogarty faces several felony charges, including aggravated stalking, terroristic threats and acts, violation of a family violence order, and harassing phone calls. The charges were filed following an investigation conducted by the Sky Valley Police Department.

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the extradition and booking process to ensure Fogarty was returned to Rabun County to face the pending charges in Superior Court.

Fogarty remains in custody at the Rabun County Detention Center while awaiting further court proceedings.

Authorities say the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office continues working with the Sky Valley Police Department and other agencies to ensure public safety and enforce outstanding warrants.
