Carrollton Police Cite 12 Businesses Following Undercover Underage Kratom Sales Operation
ARROLLTON, Ga. — The Carrollton Police Department’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Unit issued citations to employees at 12 local businesses after undercover operations revealed illegal sales of Kratom products to individuals under the age of 21.
According to police, the investigation was conducted over several months after City Hall personnel provided a list of businesses believed to sell Kratom products. Undercover officers attempted purchases at each identified location using an underage buyer.
Authorities confirmed that twelve businesses completed sales to the underage individual. In each case, citations were issued to the store clerk who conducted the transaction, consistent with enforcement procedures for age-restricted sales violations.

• MPG — 1260 Bankhead Highway
• BBW — 1213 Maple Street
• Hop-In — 725 Alabama Street
• Shell — 2301 Maple Street
• Carrollton Food Mart — 699 Alabama Street
• Cloud 9 Smoke & Vape — 827-B Maple Street
• Carrollton Tobacco & Vapor — 1670 S. Park Street, Suite 200
• Bankhead Foodmart — 494 Bankhead Highway
• Neighborhood Stop & Shop — 394 Brumbelow Road
• Blue Dream Vape — 207 Brumbelow Road
Police emphasized that selling Kratom products to anyone under 21 is prohibited and said the compliance checks were conducted to promote public safety and ensure businesses follow age-verification laws.
