Three Arrested After Armed Robbery Investigation at Brunswick Motel

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – Three men were arrested following an armed robbery investigation at a Brunswick motel that led detectives to recover a firearm, narcotics, and stolen property, according to the Glynn County Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 11:32 p.m. to a reported armed robbery at the Economy Inn on New Jesup Highway. Investigators learned the victim had arranged to meet a woman at the motel when a male suspect entered the room, displayed a firearm, and threatened the victim before demanding money and personal belongings.

Detectives and crime scene personnel launched a follow-up investigation that identified suspects Ohnjyre Bradley, 21, and Devante Armstrong, 32, both of Brunswick. Detectives apprehended the pair and transported them to police headquarters for questioning.

During the investigation, detectives executed search warrants at the motel, recovering the victim’s property, a firearm, and illegal narcotics. Authorities also encountered Jakeem Jones, 27, of Brunswick, at the location and arrested him on unrelated charges uncovered during the search.

Bradley was charged with armed robbery. Armstrong faces charges of armed robbery, possession of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Jones was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, and possession of fentanyl.

All three suspects were transported to the Glynn County Detention Center.
