Gwinnett County Police Arrest Suspect, Recover Stolen Trailer, Firearms, and Drugs
Gwinnett County, GA – On October 30, 2025, uniform officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department’s West Precinct made a significant arrest during a stolen trailer investigation.
Officers received a report that a trailer had been stolen from Norcross. Using Flock license plate readers, they tracked the trailer and identified that it had been attached to a vehicle connected to Matthew Davis. Follow-up led officers to Davis’s residence in Doraville, where the trailer was found with a different license plate attached.
A search warrant was obtained and executed at Davis’s home, resulting in the recovery of over 30 firearms, prescription medications, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.
Davis was taken into custody, and authorities are continuing the investigation.
