Bibb County Deputies Make Multiple Drug and Respond to a Domestic Call
MACON, GA — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office recently reported several arrests made by its deputies across the county.
- Vineville Avenue Traffic Stop: H.E.A.T. Unit Deputy Dalton Palmer stopped a BMW driver using a cell phone at an intersection. The female driver was found to have an outstanding Superior Court Bench Warrant for multiple charges, including exploitation and intimidation of a disabled or elderly adult, identity fraud (2 counts), computer forgery, theft by taking (13 counts), and forgery in the first degree (13 counts). She was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
- Napier Avenue High-Speed Stop: H.E.A.T. Unit Sgt. Reginald Tillman initiated a stop on a motorist running red lights. The driver accelerated away, crashed at Hillcrest Drive and Mary Drive, and was apprehended after a foot pursuit. The suspect was wanted on an aggravated assault warrant and a search of the vehicle revealed crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and fentanyl.
- Houston Road Domestic Arrest: Deputies responding to a domestic call located a male suspect in a back room of a residence. The man was wanted on warrants from Bibb and Houston County for terroristic threats, cruelty to children (3rd degree), cruelty to animals, possession of narcotics, and driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that these proactive law enforcement efforts aim to keep the community safe and hold individuals accountable for criminal activity.
