Two Teens Arrested After High-Speed Stolen Vehicle Chase in Bibb County
BIBB COUNTY, Ga. – Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested two teenagers following a high-speed pursuit involving a stolen vehicle.
According to authorities, deputies attempted to stop a Kia Soul after observing it traveling at a high rate of speed and running a red light on Pierce Avenue. The 16-year-old driver refused to stop and accelerated to speeds exceeding 120 mph. The vehicle ultimately sustained front-end damage and came to a halt.
Both the 16-year-old driver and a 15-year-old passenger fled on foot into nearby woods but were apprehended by deputies. No additional details regarding charges or injuries were released.
