Georgia Registered Sex Offender Arrested on 16 New Charges Including Grooming

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga.—A statewide sex offender compliance initiative has led to the arrest of a registered sex offender on 16 new felony charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Brandon Stephen Donehoo, 23, was arrested on October 7, 2025, after the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office participated in Operation Watchful Eye X. Donehoo, who was already on probation for Sexual Exploitation of Children, was found to have engaged in sexually explicit communications with a female via Snapchat.
Investigators determined the female was under the age of 18, and further investigation led to the victim, who confirmed the communications and disclosed that Donehoo had also sent her money.
Donehoo was booked into the Douglas County Jail on a total of sixteen warrants, including:
- Eight counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children
- Seven counts of Child Molestation
- One count of Grooming of a Minor for a Sexual Offense
Sheriff Tim Pounds commended the work of his investigators and the continued commitment to holding offenders accountable.
