Macon Man Arrested in Connection to August Aggravated Assault

MACON, Ga. — On September 21, 2025, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 21-year-old Khaleel Maurice Taylor of Macon in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on August 1, 2025.

Taylor was apprehended at a convenience store in the 2400 block of Rocky Creek Road and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where he faces two counts of Aggravated Assault. He is being held without bond.

The original incident took place just after midnight on August 1 at the Chevron located at 1106 Rocky Creek Road. Deputies responded to reports of shots fired and found three male victims, ages 19, 20, and 22, with gunshot injuries. All three victims were transported to local medical facilities, and their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

Bibb County authorities continue to investigate the case.
