Teen Suspects Arrested After Man Shot During Armed Robbery in Norcross

NORCROSS, GA — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that left one man shot in the back at an apartment complex in unincorporated Norcross.
On July 18, officers from the West Precinct responded to a report of a person shot at 1635 Pirkle Road, located at the Canopy Glen Apartments. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting occurred during a meeting arranged for a firearm sale.
Gwinnett County detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and began canvassing the area and conducting interviews. Through investigative efforts, two suspects were identified.
On July 24, the Gwinnett County SWAT Team and the Homicide/Assault Unit conducted a coordinated felony traffic stop on the suspects’ vehicle. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
Andre Glover, 17, of Stone Mountain, and a 15-year-old juvenile were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery. A search warrant executed after the arrests led to the seizure of multiple firearms and narcotics.
