Two Found Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide at Gwinnett County Home

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a domestic-related homicide that left a woman and a man dead in a residence on Stone Hill Drive in Stone Mountain.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Stone Hill Drive. A relative who made the call told dispatchers she had discovered the bodies of a man and woman, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

When officers arrived, they confirmed the adult female and adult male were deceased at the scene. Detectives believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between individuals who were acquainted. No additional suspects are being sought at this time.

The Gwinnett County Police Crime Scene Unit is processing evidence at the location, while homicide detectives are conducting interviews with potential witnesses.

The names of the deceased will be released after next of kin have been notified.
