Former Officer Arrested After Pointing Shotgun at Coolidge Police
Carroll Lee Roberts, 49, a former law enforcement officer from Coolidge, Georgia, was arrested on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, and charged with Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer. Roberts is accused of pointing a shotgun at a Coolidge Police Officer.
He has been booked into the Thomas County Jail, and the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
