Storage Facility Arson Under Investigation in Greensboro

Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced that a commercial structure fire reported on May 5, 2025, at a storage facility on Town Creek Boulevard in Greensboro is being investigated as arson.
The fire involved a facility containing over 50 storage units. Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire originated in a centrally located unit. Approximately eleven surrounding units were also damaged by heat.
The fire has been classified as incendiary. No suspects have been identified at this time. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Callers may remain anonymous.
The investigation is being conducted in coordination with the Greene County Fire Department and the City of Greensboro Fire Department.
