GBI Investigates Shooting at Pelham Bar and Grill, Two Injured

At the request of the Pelham Police Department, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating a shooting that occurred at JD’s Bar and Grill, located at 181 Mitchell Street in Pelham, GA, on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

According to the GBI, officers responded to the location at approximately 2:10 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they learned that two men, a 24-year-old and a 42-year-old, had been shot and were transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicle.

As of the GBI’s statement on Tuesday, May 13th, the 24-year-old victim remains hospitalized in critical condition. The 42-year-old man was treated for his injuries and has since been released.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting at this time. The GBI has stated that this investigation is active and ongoing.
