Loganville Man Killed in Gwinnett County Shooting; Investigation Underway

Gwinnett County Police detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Bryant Drive on Saturday, April 19th, around 5:00 p.m.

Uniform officers from the Bay Creek Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting and discovered one male deceased at the scene. The Homicide Unit, Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and Medical Examiner’s Office responded to conduct their investigations.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Brian Smith of Loganville. At this time, the motive for the shooting is unknown, and no arrests have been made.
