Statesboro Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Children

Elias John Gregory, 46, of Statesboro, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).  

The GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) Unit began investigating Gregory’s online activity in July 2024 after receiving a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The report indicated Gregory may have been possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material online.  

The investigation led to Gregory’s arrest, with assistance from the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office and the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office.  

Gregory has been booked into the Bulloch County Jail.
