Man Arrested After Doing Donuts in Stolen Truck, Found Asleep in Store Bathroom

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man in a stolen truck after he was seen doing donuts in a parking lot before falling asleep in a store bathroom.

A Flock camera alerted deputies to a stolen Dodge truck in Lizella on Holley Road. While searching for the vehicle, deputies were flagged down by a store clerk who informed them the suspect was inside a locked bathroom. Deputies entered and found the man asleep.

The suspect was taken into custody and charged with theft by taking-motor vehicle, reckless driving, and driving while license is suspended or revoked. He was transported to a local hospital before being booked into the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
