Columbus Police Seek Public’s Help in 23-Year-Old Missing Person Case

The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Wanda Jean Perkins, who was reported missing nearly 23 years ago.
On May 28, 2002, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Perkins was reported missing from her residence near the intersection of 35th Street and 5th Avenue. Since that time, she has not been seen or heard from.
Investigators with CPD’s Violent Crimes Unit continue to seek information regarding Perkins’ disappearance and the circumstances surrounding it.
