Two Arrested, 240 Grams of Meth and 21 Firearms Seized in Eastanollee Drug Bust

Authorities arrested two individuals and seized a large quantity of methamphetamine, firearms, and cash during a search warrant execution at a residence on Celtic Drive in Eastanollee on March 6, 2025.
The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit and Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) Drug Task Force launched an investigation after receiving a tip about illegal drug activity involving Gary Marvin English. Around 9:55 a.m., officers from the Crime Suppression Unit, ARDEO, Toccoa Police Department, and State Probation arrived at the residence and made contact with English. Investigators found a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine in his pocket, leading to a search warrant for the property.

During the search, authorities seized approximately 240 grams of methamphetamine, $4,572 in cash, 21 firearms, and a large quantity of ammunition.
Gary Marvin English, 65, of Eastanollee, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking Methamphetamine, three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and five counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Sandra Ostiguy, 65, of Toccoa, who was also at the residence, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
