Fugitive Captured in Kingsland with Help from Brevard County Deputies and Surveillance Technology

A coordinated effort between the Kingsland Police Department and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in Florida led to the arrest of a violent fugitive on February 12, 2025.
Authorities used the FLOCK System, a license plate recognition technology, to track the suspect, identified as Anthony Lazzaroni, to a camper trailer in Kingsland. The intelligence was relayed to Kingsland officers, who developed a plan to take him into custody safely.
Officers executed the operation without incident, successfully removing Lazzaroni from the community. Kingsland Police Chief Rick M. Evans commended the teamwork and advanced investigative tools that led to the fugitive’s arrest, emphasizing the value of interagency cooperation in law enforcement.
