Intruder Smashes Window at Lilburn Supermarket, Leaves Empty-Handed

The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking information on a suspect who broke into Supermercado El Potrero in the 800 block of Beaver Ruin Road in Lilburn, GA, during the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

At approximately 1:49 a.m., an unidentified male used a hammer to shatter a front window and gain entry into the store. Surveillance footage shows the suspect knocking a security camera off balance with a piece of wood before wandering through the business. He then exited through the rear door without taking any items.

The suspect is described as a possibly white or Hispanic male of medium build. At the time of the break-in, he was wearing a zip-up hoodie with a navy blue Braves T-shirt underneath.
