Dahlonega Woman Arrested in Drug Trafficking Investigation; Fentanyl and Meth Involved

A Dahlonega woman has been arrested following a months-long drug trafficking investigation.

Crystal Dawn Roman, 53, of Dahlonega, GA, was taken into custody on February 5, 2025, after law enforcement executed a search warrant at her home. Agents seized suspected fentanyl and over 200 grams of suspected methamphetamine during the search.

Roman has been charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of Fentanyl. She was booked into the Lumpkin County Jail.

The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s (GBI) Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office participated in the investigation. Authorities stated that the case remains active and ongoing.
