Three Arrested in Cornelia Drug Investigation; Search Warrants Lead to Seizures
On December 12, 2024, the Cornelia Police Department, in coordination with the FBI Major Offenders Task Force, conducted a traffic stop and executed search warrants at two residences as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
A 2015 Ford Focus was stopped near Elrod Street and Stonecypher Street for having no insurance. Inside the vehicle, officers found a handgun and approximately 21 ounces of marijuana. The occupants, identified as Anna Jessica Bravo (27) and Brison Marquez Browner (28), both of Cornelia, were detained.
Shortly after the traffic stop, search warrants were executed at two locations:
- At 213 Tutt Road, investigators seized approximately one ounce of marijuana, 14 grams of crack cocaine, and THC vape cartridges. James Gerald Orsborn (53) of Cornelia was arrested at this location and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. U.S. currency was also seized.
- At 448 Old Cleveland Road, investigators discovered one ounce of marijuana, MDMA pills, and oxycodone.
Bravo and Browner were charged with:
- Two counts of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies
- Possession of MDMA
- Possession of Oxycodone
- Drug Distribution within 1,000 feet of a School
