Stolen 2018 Jaguar Recovered from Lake Oliver Marina by Muscogee County Underwater CSI Team
On December 16, 2024, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Underwater Crime Scene Investigators recovered a stolen vehicle submerged at Lake Oliver Marina.
The team was called to the marina after reports of an obstruction approximately 78 feet from the boat ramp and 15 feet deep. Using a depth finder and divers, investigators located and retrieved the vehicle, a white 2018 Jaguar F-Pace, by attaching 2,000-pound lift bags to float it to the surface.
The case remains under investigation, and further details will be released as they become available.
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office operates the area’s only Underwater Crime Scene Investigator Unit. The team consists of certified evidence recovery specialists who assist in solving and prosecuting crimes locally and in neighboring regions. Their expertise has been utilized for scenes in Muscogee County, Fort Moore, Alabama, and Tennessee, including both vehicle and body recovery operations.
