Police Seize Stolen Construction Equipment and Narcotics Worth Nearly $1 Million in Gwinnett County Raid
On February 5th, Gwinnett County Police executed a search warrant at 4260 Tuggle Road in Buford, uncovering stolen construction equipment and supplies with an estimated value of nearly $1 million.
The search, part of ongoing investigations into narcotics and property crimes, led officers to discover a significant cache of construction materials. These items were found both inside the attached garage and another garage behind the residence.
Noting the potential involvement of local Home Depot and Lowes stores in retail theft operations, law enforcement enlisted the help of these companies’ loss prevention divisions to identify potentially stolen property.
Among the recovered items were various construction materials such as flooring, doors, windows, electrical wire, lights, fans, tools, hardware, and appliances. Detectives are also exploring the possibility that some materials were pilfered from construction sites in the area.
During the search, officers also uncovered a substantial quantity of pills believed to be illegal narcotics categorized as Schedule 1 and 2 substances. As a result, Bobby Mosley (60), Charles Mosley (41), Estuesta Fortuna Rogelio Jr. (48), and Regina Crane (50) were charged with VGCSA Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute. Further charges may be pending as the investigation progresses.
Detectives are currently in the process of inventorying the stolen property and illegal pills seized from the scene. This task is expected to take more than a week to complete.
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating with local partners to recover stolen property and apprehend those responsible for these crimes.
