Suspect Arrested in Murder at Lakeview Estates in Rockdale County

On Sunday, September 8, 2024, at approximately 3:30 PM, Rockdale County Deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Knox Drive in Lakeview Estates. Upon arriving, deputies found 36-year-old Kenneth Price with a gunshot wound. The coroner pronounced Price dead at the scene.

The shooter was identified as 48-year-old Jameason Preston Reynolds of Covington during the investigation.

Reynolds was taken into custody on September 9th and has been charged with Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Firearm Used by a Convicted Felon During the Commission of Felonies, Aggravated Assault, and Tampering with Evidence.
