Atlanta Arrest: Suspect in String of Vehicle Break-Ins Faces 41 Charges

In a breakthrough development, Marquis Gray was apprehended in Atlanta on November 17 after an extensive joint investigation conducted by various metro Atlanta agencies. Gray, 26, from Riverdale, now faces a total of 41 charges related to Entering Motor Vehicle, along with one count of Robbery and one count of Theft by Taking (felony), specifically for incidents in unincorporated Gwinnett County.

The case gained public attention when, on October 26, 2023, the Gwinnett County Police Department issued an alert seeking information on an individual wanted for numerous counts of Entering Auto. The focus of the investigation had been a string of incidents in the unincorporated Duluth area over the past several months.

Detectives from the General Crimes Unit diligently worked on the case, identifying Marquis Rashawn Gray as the prime suspect. At present, Gray has a staggering 24 active warrants related to Entering Auto. The ongoing investigation revealed the extent of his alleged involvement in these crimes.
