Teenager Critically Injured in Shooting at Hollywood Shawnee Apartments

On September 3, 2024, at approximately 4:39 PM, Atlanta Police officers responded to reports of multiple individuals shot at 1033 Hollywood Road NW, Hollywood Shawnee Apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old male with a graze wound to his hand and a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest. The 17-year-old was alert, conscious, and breathing, receiving medical attention on scene.

The 15-year-old was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The Aggravated Assault Unit is investigating the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
