Roswell Man Charged with Kidnapping and Child Pornography After Forsyth County Arrest
UPDATE #2: Brian Betenia has been charged with two counts of kidnapping, as well as two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Roswell Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit. These charges are in addition to the 12 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material for which Betenia was arrested by the Roswell Police Department in July of this year. Betenia also faces several criminal charges in Forsyth County related to their pursuit of him. Additional charges may be forthcoming from Roswell as well.
UPDATE #1: The Roswell Police Department has reported that Ashley Vick and her son Tanner St. Germain were both located safe shortly after 1 a.m. Suspect Brian Betenia was taken into custody by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office after a brief vehicle pursuit. The Roswell Police Department expressed gratitude to the GBI, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, media partners, and the public for their assistance, which contributed to the swift recovery of the individuals involved.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation initiated a Levi’s call at the request of the Roswell Police Department regarding missing endangered adult Ashley Vick and her juvenile son, Tanner St. Germain. Ashley and Tanner were believed to be with Ashley’s partner, Brian Betenia, driving a black 2013 Ford Edge with a Georgia temporary license plate of P5870776.
