Ringgold Man Charged in HVAC Theft at Rossville Church
William Michael Crawley, 45, of Ringgold, Georgia, has been charged in connection with the August 11, 2024, theft of a HVAC unit from Mission Glen Baptist Church, located at 2125 Happy Valley Road in Rossville, Georgia, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.
Crawley was apprehended on August 18, 2024, by a Walker County Deputy while driving a stolen truck from Hamilton County, Tennessee. The vehicle matched the description of the truck seen at the scene of the HVAC theft on August 11th, Sheriff Wilson confirmed.
Following his arrest, Crawley was charged with multiple offenses, including:
- Theft by Taking (Felony)
- Criminal Damage to Property
- Theft by Bringing Stolen Property into the State
- Fugitive from Another State
- Open Container
- Possession of Methamphetamine
Crawley is currently being held at the Walker County Jail on a bond of $7,639.50. Upon posting bond, he will be extradited to Hamilton County, Tennessee, to face additional charges related to the stolen truck.
