OrthoGeorgia Adds Joint Replacement Surgeon to Macon, Warner Robins Offices

MACON, Ga. – OrthoGeorgia has added orthopedic surgeon Dr. Yitzak Fox to its team, expanding joint replacement services at the practice’s Macon and Warner Robins locations.
Fox is fellowship-trained in adult reconstruction and specializes in total joint reconstruction of the knee and hip. His clinical work also includes robotic-arm assisted partial and total knee and hip replacement and revision procedures for patients who have previously undergone joint replacement surgery.
Fox earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Florida International University before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami and an adult reconstruction fellowship at the Colorado Orthopedic Research Institute.
Fox has also contributed to peer-reviewed research involving orthopedic surgery and total joint replacement. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
