Macon Man Arrested in Armed Robbery, Kidnapping at Riverside Parkway Smoke Shop

MACON, Ga. – A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Macon smoke shop, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Nathan Taylor is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping in connection with the August 25 robbery at Baba-G Smoke, located at 116 Riverside Parkway.
The Sheriff’s Office said its Criminal Investigation Division identified Taylor as a suspect after receiving a tip through Macon Regional Crimestoppers.
An investigator located Taylor around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, in the 3500 block of Riverside Drive and took him into custody.
Taylor was transported to the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation before being booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
He is being held without bond.
His charges are: Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault.
The Sheriff’s Office said additional charges are possible as investigators continue working the case.
