U.S. Marshals Seek Two Men Wanted for Separate Floyd County Murders
ROME, Ga. The United States Marshals Service, Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Rome Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating two men wanted in separate Floyd County murder investigations.
Authorities said both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous and warned the public not to approach them.
The first suspect, 25-year-old Chancelor Lamar Crawford, has been wanted since April 21 on charges of murder and aggravated assault.
Investigators allege Crawford fatally shot Chancellor Donaldson on or about April 19 in Floyd County. According to authorities, Crawford struck Donaldson in the face with a handgun before the victim turned away. Investigators said Crawford then intentionally shot Donaldson in the back of the head, causing fatal injuries.
Crawford is described as 6 feet tall and approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen at the Family Dollar in the 1400 block of North Broad Street Northeast in Rome.
Authorities said Crawford is currently on probation for aggravated battery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The second fugitive, 23-year-old Treveonsay Trejion Burge, is also wanted on charges of murder and aggravated assault. Investigators said Burge also uses the alias “KAPO307.”
Burge is described as standing between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. He was last seen in Rome.
According to investigators, Burge fatally shot Adam Taylor Hernandez in the back of the head on or about Oct. 21, 2025, in Floyd County.
Authorities emphasized that both Crawford and Burge are considered armed and dangerous.
