2 Arrested in Muscogee County After Foot Pursuit, Deputies Discover Kidnapping Warrants
MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. — Two people were arrested Wednesday after deputies conducting patrol operations in south Muscogee County discovered one suspect had outstanding felony warrants tied to kidnapping and vehicle hijacking charges, according to the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said investigators with the sheriff’s office Collaborative Intelligence Group Patrol and HEAT Unit were patrolling the area on May 13, 2026, when they observed a man later identified as Jonathan Ullba-Valdez running across three lanes of traffic after an argument with a woman identified as Billie-Jean Rogers.
Deputies said Ullba-Valdez was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
During the investigation, deputies discovered Rogers had active felony bench warrants for Kidnapping and Hijacking a Motor Vehicle.
Authorities also said a search of Ullba-Valdez allegedly uncovered cocaine and drug-related objects.
Rogers was arrested on the outstanding warrants, while Ullba-Valdez was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Jaywalking, Obstruction, and Possession of Drug-Related Objects.
Both were transported to the Muscogee County Jail without incident.
Investigators said the case remains active and additional charges could be filed.
