Man Critically Injured in Shooting at Dublin Apartment Complex

DUBLIN, Ga. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old man critically injured early Wednesday morning, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The shooting occurred around 12:08 a.m. May 6 at the Vinson Village Apartments near the intersection of Dewey Street and West Mary Street.

Officers with the Dublin Police Department responded to a call about a person who had been shot. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Witnesses told investigators the shooting followed an argument.

The GBI was requested to assist with the investigation, which remains ongoing. No arrests have been made.
