Man Wanted After Stabbing in Royston; Victim Identifies Suspect

OYSTON, Ga. — Police are searching for a suspect following a stabbing that left a man injured Friday afternoon.

According to the Royston Police Department, officers responded just before 5:00 p.m. on April 24, 2026, to a residence on Daniel Street after receiving a report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found Daryl Brawner suffering from a stab wound to his arm. Brawner told officers he was stabbed by Calvin Little, who fled the scene before police arrived.

Brawner was treated at the scene by EMS and later transported for further medical care.

Authorities said arrest warrants have been issued for Little on a charge of aggravated assault, but he has not yet been located.

Police are asking anyone with information on Little’s whereabouts to contact 911 and advise the public not to approach him.

The investigation remains ongoing.
