Two Arrested in Pelham, Charged with Murder in January Double Homicide

PELHAM, Ga. — Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a double homicide that occurred in January 2026, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Scott Foster, 27, of Ochlocknee, and Dajarion Ward, 19, of Pelham, are accused in the deaths of Desmond Daniels and Tobias McIntyre, who were found shot on January 18 near the intersection of Castleberry Street NW and Cannon Street NW.

Foster faces multiple charges, including two counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of armed robbery, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Ward is charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of armed robbery.

Arrest warrants were obtained on April 7, 2026, by GBI agents and investigators with the Pelham Police Department. Foster was already in custody at the Thomas County Jail on unrelated charges, while Ward was arrested and booked into the Mitchell County Jail.

The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.

Officials say the case remains active and ongoing. Once complete, it will be turned over to the South Georgia Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
