One Dead, Two Injured in Midtown Atlanta Shooting

ATLANTA, Ga. — One person is dead and two others were injured following a shooting Monday evening in Midtown Atlanta, police said.

Officers with Atlanta Police Zone 5 responded around 5:47 p.m. on March 30, 2026, to reports of multiple people shot at 230 18th Street NW.

When officers arrived, they found three adult victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

A 32-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were transported to the hospital alert, conscious, and breathing. A second adult male victim was transported in critical condition and later died from his injuries.

Atlanta Police Homicide Unit investigators responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
