Former North Murray High School Teacher Arrested for Improper Sexual Contact
CHATSWORTH, GA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) arrested a 46-year-old former high school teacher on Monday, March 30, 2026, following allegations of sexual contact with a student. Benjamin Michael Goldman of Crandall, Georgia, was taken into custody after a swift investigation into his conduct while employed at North Murray High School.
The GBI has charged Goldman with the following:
- Improper Sexual Contact by an Employee or Agent
- Sodomy
- Making a False Statement to Law Enforcement

The case began earlier today, March 30, when the Murray County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the GBI to investigate reports that Goldman had engaged in sexual contact with a student.
