Two Arrested in Shooting Death of 19-Year-Old Found After Crash in Snellville
SNELLVILLE, Ga. — Two 18-year-old men have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old who was found after a reported car crash in unincorporated Snellville, police said.
Gwinnett County Police identified the victim as Taveus Threatt Jr. of Loganville.
Officers responded around 10:05 p.m. on March 13, 2026, to a reported crash in the 2900 block of Spruce Circle. When they arrived, they found Threatt unconscious with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives launched an investigation that led to the identification and arrest of two suspects, Glenn Fitzpatrick of Winder and Michael Coker of Loganville.
Both suspects have been charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. They are being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing, and detectives are continuing to determine the motive behind the shooting.
