Two Shot in Macon, Victims Found at Pio Nono Avenue Gas Station After Fleeing Scene
MACON, Georgia – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left two people injured Saturday evening in Macon.
Deputies were initially dispatched at 6:21 p.m. to the LOLO Gas Station in the 2400 block of Pio Nono Avenue after a report of a person shot.
When deputies arrived, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim told investigators he had been shot while inside his car on Moseley Avenue and then drove to the gas station to get help.
A second victim, a 17-year-old male, was also found to have been shot. He was transported to a hospital by private vehicle.
Both victims were taken to local medical facilities, where they are listed in stable condition, according to medical staff.
Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division are working to determine what led to the shooting.
