Two Arrested After Gunfire Report Leads to Drug and Weapons Seizure in Walton County
Walton County, GA — Two people were arrested after deputies responded to a report of gunfire during a dispute at a Walton County residence.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched on March 7, 2026, after a caller reported that Tykee Gibbs had threatened him with a firearm and fired shots outside the home.
During the investigation, deputies located spent shell casings at the scene and recovered several firearms that had been hidden nearby.
Authorities also discovered illegal narcotics during the investigation, including 61 pills believed to be Adderall, a Schedule II controlled substance; 78 Xanax pills and six broken Xanax pills, classified as a Schedule IV controlled substance; along with marijuana and cocaine.
Investigators determined that Brianna Williams attempted to move and conceal some of the firearms and other evidence during the investigation.
Gibbs was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, crossing the guard line with contraband, tampering with evidence, two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes.
Williams was arrested and charged with three counts of tampering with evidence and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Both suspects were taken into custody as the investigation continues.
