More Than 1.4 Kilograms of Fentanyl Seized in Gwinnett County Drug Bust

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Two people remain in custody after law enforcement officers seized more than 1.4 kilograms of fentanyl during the execution of a search warrant at a Gwinnett County residence, authorities said.

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office announced that D’Evin Brown and Serina Johnson were arrested on February 18, 2026, following a joint operation involving the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section, the Gwinnett Metro Task Force, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Investigators recovered approximately 1,450 grams of fentanyl inside the residence, along with a firearm located in the same room as the narcotics.

Brown and Johnson are charged with Trafficking in Morphine, Opium, or Heroin 28 grams or more, Possession of a Firearm or Knife During the Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, and Endangering a Child While DUI.

Both suspects remain held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.
