Savannah Juvenile Arrested in Armed Robberies Targeting Food Delivery Drivers
SAVANNAH, Georgia – The Savannah Police Department has arrested a male juvenile in connection with two armed robberies involving food delivery drivers.
On February 11, investigators identified the suspect and took him into custody for an armed robbery that occurred February 7 in the 100 block of Albion Street. In that case, he was charged with hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years of age.
While in custody, the juvenile was also charged in connection with a separate armed robbery that occurred January 28 in the 1100 block of Crescent Drive. For that incident, he faces additional charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years of age.
The juvenile remains in custody at the Regional Youth Detention Center.
