Sandy Springs Police Shut Down Four Suspected Illegal Massage Businesses

SANDY SPRINGS, Georgia – Detectives with the Sandy Springs Police Department’s Narcotics and Vice Unit, along with the Criminal Investigation Division, executed search warrants Thursday, February 19, at two suspected illegal massage businesses following an investigation into complaints of prostitution and possible human trafficking.

The warrants were carried out at Pileo Therapy, located at 195 Cliftwood Drive, and Pearl Massage, located at 8600 Roswell Road.

As a result of the investigation, four massage businesses were shut down, including Jade Spa at 8599 Roswell Road, Massage Springs at 6309 Roswell Road, Pileo Therapy at 195 Cliftwood Drive, and Pearl Massage on Roswell Road.

Two women were arrested and charged with City Ordinance House of Ill Fame and Solicitation for an Illicit Sexual Act. A third woman was also charged with Solicitation for an Illicit Sexual Act.

Police say the enforcement action is part of an ongoing effort to combat human and sex trafficking in the community.

Sandy Springs Police were assisted in the investigation by federal partners from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the FBI, along with the Sandy Springs Fire Marshal’s Office and Code Enforcement.
