Kingsland Joint Operation Results in Child Exploitation Arrest

KINGSLAND, GA — A multi-agency investigation led by the Kingsland Police Department culminated in a targeted raid and arrest this week as part of an effort to combat online crimes against children. Kaleb Brawley was taken into custody on Thursday, February 19, 2026, following the execution of a search warrant in the 100 Block of Pine Bluff Subdivision.

Brawley has been charged with two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

The Investigation: From Cyber Tip to Arrest

The case was initiated by a “cyber tip” from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). This led to a monthslong forensic and investigative process:

  • Coordinated Effort: The operation was a joint venture between the Kingsland Police Department, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, and the St. Marys Police Department.
  • Task Force Leadership: Sgt. Dylan Mathis, representing the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, led the search and subsequent arrest.
  • Forensic Evidence: Chief Rick M. Evans noted that the investigation involved “painstaking” forensic analysis to build the case against Brawley.

A “Moral Obligation” to Protect

Following the arrest, Kingsland Police Chief Rick M. Evans issued a stern warning to those who attempt to exploit minors in the community.

“Let me be absolutely clear: the Kingsland Police Department will never tolerate crimes against children,” said Chief Evans. “Protecting children is not just a duty—it is a moral obligation. Anyone who preys upon a child will be identified, arrested, and held fully accountable under the law.”

Current Status

Brawley was interviewed by detectives before being transported to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office for the booking process. He is currently being held as the legal process moves forward.

Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant. If you have information regarding crimes against children or suspicious online behavior, you are encouraged to report it to local law enforcement immediately.
