Masked Gunman Robs Texaco on Hartley Bridge Road in Macon, Flees on Foot

MACON, Georgia – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred late Saturday night at the Texaco located at 4535 Hartley Bridge Road in Macon.

According to authorities, the call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 10:49 p.m. on February 14, 2026. Deputies were advised that an individual entered the business, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the store clerk.

The suspect fled the store on foot, heading northbound, with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a masked Black male wearing all black clothing, gloves, sunglasses, and white sneakers.

The circumstances surrounding the robbery remain under investigation. Images from the store’s surveillance system have been released as investigators work to identify the suspect.
