Man Shot in Both Legs During Late-Night Incident in Marietta

MARIETTA, Georgia – Marietta Police are investigating a late-night shooting that left a 20-year-old man injured.

Officers were dispatched just before 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, to 803 Powder Springs Street in Marietta regarding reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from gunshot wounds to both legs.

Officers immediately applied tourniquets to control the bleeding before the victim was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. Preliminary information indicates the injuries are non-life-threatening.

Police say a second party involved in the shooting left the scene before officers arrived. Detectives responded to collect evidence and begin the investigation. The victim’s name is being withheld at this time.
