Woman Critically Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Gray Highway in Macon

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian crash that left a woman in critical condition Tuesday night on Gray Highway.

The collision happened just before 8:00 p.m. on February 10 near the intersection of Gray Highway and Sanford Place.

According to deputies, a female pedestrian was walking in the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and spoke with responding deputies.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Atrium Navicent Health, where she is currently listed in critical condition. Authorities have not released her name pending notification of next of kin.

Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the crash.
