Drug Dealer Arrested in Macon; Weapons, Narcotics and Cash Seized
MACON, Georgia — A suspected drug dealer was taken into custody after Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant on Pio Nono Avenue and seized narcotics, firearms and cash.
According to authorities, members of the Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and Gang Unit carried out the warrant at a residence along Pio Nono Avenue. During the search, investigators recovered marijuana, Xanax pills, digital scales, packaging materials and a large amount of U.S. currency.
Deputies also seized three firearms: an American Tactical AR pistol, an SCCY 9mm handgun and a Smith & Wesson M&P .45 caliber pistol.
The suspect was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center and charged with Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
The investigation remains ongoing.
